TV Console/Entertainment stand/dresser

Here is our latest piece of furniture!

 I'm not the best at remembering to take before shots but here are a couple after I remembered...

 Yes, below is a cushion from what the chevron couch looked like pre-makeover! And on the right is a side shot of the dresser!

This TV console/Entertainment system/dressser (or whatever else you may use it for) is an older piece of furniture and it's solid wood. Very well made! Once again, you will need some muscles to move it!

We sanded the mess out of this thing, painted it in an antique white, and covered the front of the drawers in this beautiful coral and white fabric.

 We also added these gorgeous knobs, as the dresser did not have any knobs when we got it... so technically they can just be for decoration if you prefer!

Chevron Striped Couch

So this next piece of furniture turned out amazing! Rachel is the queen of reupholstery, just sayin'! What was an older, ugly floral patterned love seat, is now a beautiful, modern, chevron-striped piece of art!! (ok, that may be a little extreme) But really. This is a great piece of furniture. It's very sturdy and well-made (of wood and iron, so don't try to lift it alone). Bonus: it has a sofa bed too! There are no stains or defects, and it's brand new upholstery. Let us know if you're interested or if you have any pieces you would like us to reupholster for you!
Price of sofa: $590 (we can't promise we'll accept a lower offer but give it a shot if you want!)

Picture this with bold throw pillows in some fun pops of color (yellow, coral, green, etc). If you don't have any, we can make that too!

Here is our first official piece of furniture for sale! A 5 drawer wood dresser in a dark brown stain. The drawers have been painted in a light blue and antique white chevron stripe.

Our new venture!

I'm not a writer, so this blog will not be one of many words, but here is our story! My friend Rachel and I decided last week that we wanted to pay off our credit cards and we needed some quick money! So we headed to a nearby thrift store to look for things we could buy and "pintrify". Well while we were there we saw some of the workers getting rid of some of the furniture so of course we had to pry! It turns out they just THROW OUT the furniture that hasnt sold in a while! You would think the smart thing to do would be to discount the furniture in hopes someone would buy it at a discounted rate... Not them! They just throw it out. So of course we offered to take it off their hands and off we go with a table, file cabinet, and couch with a sofa bed! That was all the motivation we needed to decide we would start up our own business of repurposing furniture. And here we are a week and 2 pieces of furniture later! What looked like junk has been turned into a treasure... Hence the name, "Treasures, revealed." I hope you enjoy what you see!
